Wyoming Catholic College (WCC) is pleased to announce that Creatio, a Denver-based Catholic apostolate that has been providing pilgrimages across the United States and abroad for over 10 years, has agreed to merge with the College’s outreach program, COR Expeditions.
“The fit is remarkably natural,” says Fr. Dcn. Kyle Washut, WCC’s president, “as both ministries seek to help people disconnect from the noise of the digital world, encounter God through beauty and wonder, walk in authentic Christian community, and deepen their identity as beloved sons and daughters of God. This partnership allows us to build on Creatio’s strong foundation, while bringing its mission under the broader COR and Wyoming Catholic College umbrella.”
Dr. Tom Zimmer, WCC’s Vice President for Outdoor Formation and the Executive Director of COR Expeditions, notes that “for the past decade, COR has pursued our mission primarily through wilderness expeditions. Going forward, we will also offer pilgrimages—creating new opportunities for Catholic schools, colleges, seminarians, religious orders, families, individuals, and organizations to encounter Christ through transformative travel and formation. We are excited to offer both expeditions and pilgrimages as complementary pathways of spiritual and human formation.”
