Merit Scholarship

Wyoming Catholic College offers competitive partial-tuition merit scholarships to high school students who have demonstrated excellent academic aptitude. The Admissions Committee considers the entire application, including written portions, extracurricular activities and performance in the interview. To qualify, the applicants generally have (1) test scores in the 85th percentile on the SAT, ACT, or CLT; and (2) a high school GPA of at least 3.5. These scholarships are renewable from year to year, provided the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.25. Merit Awards will be announced with the student’s financial package.

Founders’ Scholarship

The Founders’ Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship awarded to a student who shows academic excellence, great work ethic and strong communication skills. The College holds two competitions on campus each academic year. The scholarship is renewable from year to year, provided the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Magnificat Choral Scholarship

Students who show dedication and talent in the Wyoming Catholic College choir may be offered this $1,500 per year scholarship. There are several requirements to maintain this scholarship, including attending all choir practices and singing at regular at the College Masses. Students will be considered for this scholarship only if they agree to all the requirements. This scholarship is available for both incoming freshmen, as well as returning students, with priority given to upper classmen. To apply as an incoming freshmen, please reach out to the Admissions Office to arrange an interview and audition with the College Choir Director. The Financial Aid Office will inform students if they are awarded this scholarship.

Transfer Scholarship

The Transfer Scholarship is awarded to students who have previously attended another college and have chosen to continue their education and formation at WCC. Eligible recipients receive a 50% reduction in tuition for each year of enrollment and are responsible for 100% of room, board, and fees.

Eligibility for this scholarship includes full-time enrollment in the prior year at an approved traditional four-year college approved and maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 at WCC.

Students who receive this scholarship remain eligible for other applicable discounts and forms of assistance, including sibling or visitor credits and institutional or external financial aid, subject to standard eligibility requirements.

Wyoming Resident Grant

The Wyoming Grant is available to students who are residents of Wyoming. It is $2,000 per year and renewable each year providing the student continues to reside in Wyoming and attend Wyoming Catholic College. It is a tuition-only scholarship.

The Native American Mentor-Student Partnership at Wyoming Catholic College

As the result of a generous grant from the Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions, Wyoming Catholic College is pleased to offer a special scholarship program to qualified Native American students. The program enables the College to offer need-based financial grants that may (in some cases) cover all costs of attendance, including tuition, room and board, books, and fees. But it is more than just a scholarship program. Incoming Native American students are matched with “student-mentors” from among the current student body from their first days at Wyoming Catholic. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for additional details and application guidelines.

External Scholarships

We encourage our students to spend some dedicated time researching and applying for external scholarships, as well. A selection of such scholarships can be found here, and students are also encouraged to look in their local communities.

Christine Allen Memorial Scholarship

The Christine Allen Memorial Scholarship was established to remember and celebrate Christine’s extraordinary life as a student at the College. Her legacy continues by helping fellow Wyoming Catholic College students achieve the educational experience she so desired. All returning Wyoming Catholic College students are encouraged to apply for this $2,000 scholarship.
