Wyoming Catholic College (“WCC,” “the College,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and destroy information about you.
This policy applies to our website, wyomingcatholic.edu, and our admissions site, admissions.wyomingcatholic.edu (together, the “Site”), and to information you provide to the College through our admissions, enrollment, financial aid, student services, employment, and philanthropic processes — whether you submit it online, on paper, or in person.
By using the Site or submitting information to the College, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.
Personal information you provide voluntarily. This may include your name, mailing address, email address, telephone and mobile numbers, date of birth, parent or guardian contact information, high school and academic history, and anything you choose to include in a form, application, or message. We collect this when you request information, apply for admission, register for an event or visit, complete student life forms, apply for employment, or make a gift.
Sensitive personal information. In connection with enrollment, financial aid, employment, and payment processing, we may collect sensitive personal information. Depending on your relationship with the College, this may include:
Mobile number and text messaging consent. If you provide a mobile number and affirmatively opt-in, we collect and retain your number together with a record of your consent, the date and method of that consent, and your subsequent opt-out if you choose to withdraw it. See Section 4.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we collect standard log and analytics data, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time and date of visit, referring pages, and similar usage statistics.
We use the information described above to:
Participation in our text messaging program is entirely voluntary. We send text messages only to individuals who have affirmatively opted in by providing a mobile number and indicating consent on one of our forms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or transfer mobile numbers, opt-in data, or consent records to any third party, affiliate, or lead generator under any circumstances. Mobile information may be disclosed only to the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, solely for that purpose, and under contractual restrictions that prohibit any other use.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
As stated in Section 4, mobile numbers and text messaging consent data are excluded from all sharing other than delivery of the messages you have opted in to receive.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Sensitive personal information is subject to additional access restrictions and is available only to employees whose duties require it.
We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or to satisfy legal, accreditation, and records retention requirements. When information is no longer needed, we destroy it securely: physical records containing sensitive personal information are shredded, and electronic records are permanently deleted or otherwise rendered unreadable.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to the information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and records retention obligations. To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 11.
You may unsubscribe from email communications at any time using the link in any message, and you may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. We will honor these requests promptly.
We use cookies and analytics tools to collect usage data, such as pages visited, time spent, and links clicked, to help us understand and improve the Site. You may instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when one is sent. Some portions of the Site may not function properly if you decline cookies.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not send text messages to any individual under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Material changes will be announced by a prominent notice on this page.
