Ella Layfield

Hi! I’m Ella, a rising senior at Wyoming Catholic College and a proud Texan. Ever since my own PEAK, I’ve come to love WCC’s one-of-a-kind, vibrant community. When I’m not getting a little too excited about a Thomistic article or Wordsworth’s poetry, you can usually find me swing dancing, crocheting, or occasionally frolicking in the mountains. I’m so excited to offer a glimpse into what makes WCC so unique this summer!

Armâan Karimpour

My name is Armâan Karimpour and I am a rising senior at Wyoming Catholic College and was born and raised in West Virginia. Returning as a PEAK counselor, I am very much looking forward to leading the PEAK backpacking trip. Over the past three years, some of my favorite experiences at Wyoming Catholic include backpacking down the length of the Wind River Range in a week, reading Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics with Dr. Virginia, and leading the Byzantine choir.

Lily Famolaro

Hi, my name is Lily! I am a rising senior, and I grew up in San Diego, California. One thing I love about WCC is the outdoor program. It provides students with a tangible opportunity to grow in leadership skills and virtue. I have personally grown so much as a leader and an individual through this program. I am most excited to go on the backpacking trip with my group of girls!!

Fun facts:

My favorite color is light tan. My favorite animal are puppies. I love hiking and long walks on the beach.

Andrew Egan

My name is Andrew Egan and I am a rising senior. I grew up with the forests and farmland in the southern part of Wisconsin, but I have fallen in love with the mountains and deserts out west. I’m really excited to be backpacking again for PEAK. Seeing the stars in the backcountry is really an experience like no other.

One of my favorite books we read here at WCC is Virgil’s epic The Aeneid. I like to hike, play sports (soccer and hockey mostly), play cards, sing songs, and wander about in God’s First Book.
