We did it.

Thanks to the generosity of many of the College’s friends and supporters, we met both our initial and our challenge goals for this past week’s Spring Break Match Campaign. Only “met” is nowhere near the right word.

We SMASHED them.

Several of our dearest friends made last-minute gifts this weekend as the campaign entered its final hours, and their generosity rocketed us far beyond our anticipated destination. With their extraordinary help—and with yours—we managed to raise just under $90,000 for our young students, nearly doubling what we’d initially hoped to raise through this appeal.

Thank you!!

Your investment in the extraordinary men and women that we are blessed to have with us here in Lander will make a profound difference in our society, in our church, and in our world. You should be proud of these young people, and you should be proud in the role your support plays in making this unique education possible.

One of our most beloved memories from last year’s Spring Break trips was the beautiful snippet of the College’s alma mater, “Verus Conditor Montium,” sung from the bottom of Morning Glory Canyon by the women of the Class of 2025. As imitation is often considered the sincerest form of flattery, two of this year’s groups made recordings of their own: one from a climbing trip to glorious Southeast Utah, and one from a Latin Canoeing group traveling through the Green River’s Labyrinth Canyon.

As a small token of our great gratitude, we’re happy to share these two recordings, which highlight both the musical abilities of our students, and the extraordinary natural beauty in which they get to spend their time. The climbing trip’s version (which resulted in the striking image at the opening of this email) can be found HERE. And the Latin Canoeing trip (which found a fantastic location for acoustics) can be found HERE or viewed below.

Enjoy. And thank you for all you do to make these adventures possible. Wyoming Catholic College would not exist without your support!!
