Position Summary:
Have you ever wanted a peek into how Admissions runs behind-the-scenes? Come join us this
summer prepping for the PEAK programs, Freshmen Welcome, and carrying out other important
administrative tasks. Expand your professional experience through interacting with prospective
students, planning logistical details, professional communication practices, and working with
programs like Excel. This is also a great opportunity for strengthening your leadership skills both
in working with PEAK Counselors during their outdoor expeditions and with the high school
students that will visit our wonderful campus!
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare campus and clean up facilities as needed (Work ethic required)
2. Drive shuttles (Driver’s license and school certification required)
3. Help PEAK Program Coordinator plan for PEAK and assist with PEAK tasks
4. Welcome Freshmen
5. Office tasks
Education/Experience: High level of responsibility and maturity, and a good work ethic.
Specific Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Must feel comfortable talking about their experience at
WCC with a variety of people.
Level of Supervision Received/Given: High supervision.

Salary: $3,300 for both PEAK Programs, with additional compensation for Head Counselor
Role

Schedule: June 7th – July 15 (4.5 weeks)
Position Summary: This summer, we will again run two High School Summer Programs:
PEAK I (June 11-June 25): 9 days of classes; 3-night backpacking course
PEAK II (June 27-July 15): 9 days of classes; 3-night backpacking course
In this position, you will strive to set an example of what it means to be a WCC student,
spending each day interacting not only with the high school students, but also with the other
counselors. It is this model of genuine friendship that makes the PEAK experience powerful and
one of the best means of student recruitment. It is also a great opportunity to do what you love!
You will give students a taste of wonder, the outdoors, camaraderie, conversation, prayer, critical
feedback, music, dance, and more!
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities:

2. Drive Denver shuttles (Driver’s license and school certification required)
3. Act as authority over high school students and enforce rules (Maturity required)
4. Lead backpacking trips and other outdoor activities (Completion of a Leader Week
strongly preferred)
5. Mentor PEAK students by sharing personal experience (Interpersonal skills required)
Education/Experience: High level of responsibility and maturity; Sophomores and Juniors are
eligible to apply. Ideally, we would like a mix of both sophomore and juniors.
Specific Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Must feel comfortable talking about their experience at
WCC with a variety of people; must be able to lead outdoor trips for high school students.

Department: Crux Coffee Shop Pay: $12.00 + tips
Reports to: Dane Hagestad
Work Schedule: Weekly hours will range between 30 – 40 hrs. Baristas may have shifts Monday
through Saturday anytime between 6:30 am – 5:30 pm in Crux.
Position Summary: Every Crux barista is asked to serve the best quality product to the people of
WCC and the wider Lander community. It is necessary that all baristas be welcoming and provide the
best customer service to everyone everyday. We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated folks who want
to both learn about coffee and share that knowledge with the people of Lander.
Primary Job Responsibilities
● Welcome all customers
● Present menu to customers and answer any questions
● Consistently provide quality coffee, tea, and food to all customers
● Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
● Make sure all dishes have been washed and put away properly
● Make sure Crux area is clean: wipe down all surfaces; floors swept and mopped; equipement
clean and working
● Open and close Crux
● Report any issues to Manager immediately

Schedule: 40 hrs/ week – Normal hours will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, but there may be some evening and
weekend hours
Position Summary: Clean and keep the Holy Rosary and WCC facilities hospitable, warm, and welcoming.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and maintaining appearance/usability of WCC facilities
2. Cleaning and maintaining appearance/usability of Holy Rosary facilities
3. Stocking and distributing custodial supplies as needed
4. Tracking and logging supply usage
5. Assist the Flex crew on occasion
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Experience: Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, organization and attention to
detail, creativity, and reliability. Must have initiative and the ability to see a potential need/lack before it is a
problem and to find a solution. Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
Specific Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Must be able to work collaboratively with others as well as
independently. Attention to detail. Must be comfortable with and sensitive to working with all levels of College
management. Taking initiative is very important for this position. Valid Driver’s License is encouraged.
Level of Supervision Received/Given: Highly supervised position with ongoing contact and communication
with supervisor, while sometimes having days/periods with little in person contact/supervision.
Special Working Conditions: Working primarily indoors with cleaning chemicals and following sanitizing
procedures. Preferred flexibility to work early mornings.

Schedule: 40 hrs/ week – Normal hours will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, but there will be some
evening/weekend hours
Position Summary: Maintain grounds and buildings.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Inside Dorm and WCC facility cleaning, painting, and light maintenance duties
2. Outside yard and lawn work, as well as light maintenance duties
3. Moving office and housing furniture
4. Assist WCC with special projects, including the kitchen or other areas as needed.
5. May be asked to assist with campus lockup duties
Minimum Job Requirements:
Specific Skills/Specialized Knowledge: Must be able to work collaboratively with others as well as
independently, and have a strong work ethic. Attention to detail and good communication skills are crucial.
Must be comfortable with and sensitive to working with all levels of College management. Basic mechanical
aptitude is needed. Valid Driver’s License is encouraged. Ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
Level of Supervision Received/Given: Supervised position with ongoing contact and communication with
supervisor, also often working independently.
Special Working Conditions: Working in summer weather conditions, working safely with industrial chemicals
and hand/power tools, lifting heavy items (such as desks and furniture)

Position Summary: Assists Wyoming Catholic College administrative staff as needed.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities
1. Assist the Business Office with copying, filing, shredding, daily mail and stocking supplies as needed.
2. Assist Student Life as needed.
3. Assist WCC with special projects as needed.
4. Assist the Office of Institutional Advancement with mailing and filing as needed.
5. Assist Registrar with course books and reading packets.

In addition to the work of a PEAK counselor, this employee will work on the Ranch for our third
PEAK Program, PEAK Ranch. This job happens entirely at the Box R Ranch, and is similar to
PEAK, but shorter and with no backpacking trip.

6. Mentor PEAK students by sharing personal experience (Interpersonal skills required)
