Statement on the Passing of Victor Riley

Wyoming Catholic College mourns the death of our friend and benefactor, Victor Riley. Mr. Riley was one of the first chairmen of our Board of Directors and a longtime member. His vision and acuity helped the college gain a foothold in its first years, as did his great personal generosity in supporting this fledgling enterprise. In his last years, when he was no longer an active member of the Board, Mr. Riley delighted to visit Lander and meet students of what he loved to call “my college.” He will be greatly missed, and all of us in the WCC community will keep him in our grateful prayers.
