Rose grew up in Lander Wyoming, where she learned that trees are made to be climbed and every backyard is full of adventures. Whether making “butter” out of dandelion heads or catching water skippers in the Popo Agie river, Rose’s favorite place was always barefoot and outside. Her horizons of exploration were expanded with her first backpacking trip, the freshman 21 day expedition which began her time as a student at Wyoming Catholic College. While at Wyoming Catholic, Rose discovered a love for ministry through a summer of teaching Totus Tuus and two summers as a backpacking instructor with Camp Wojtyla. As a backpacking instructor, Rose encountered firsthand the transformative power of the wilderness and the relationships built in the joys and inconveniences of backpacking.

Since her graduation in May 2024, Rose spent the summer in Australia and found herself back in Lander with a desire to give her time in the service of something greater. As Registrations Coordinator, Rose is excited to provide practical support for COR’s mission and to wear any other hats that come her way.

In her free time, Rose enjoys deep conversations, singing, horseback riding, experimenting with various fermented foods like kombucha and sourdough, and being involved with local regenerative farming projects, and she is always down to try something new.
