Marjorie Papadopoulos
Equestrian Instructor; Assistant Director of Horsemanship
B.A. (English), University of Dallas
Marjorie began riding at 10 years old; her early formation was primarily in the English disciplines of show jumping, eventing and even some foxhunting. She was an active member of the young riders’ association Pony Club, graduating with a C2 rating. After earning her B.A. in English at University of Dallas in 2010, she began working in equine therapy, eventually founding and managing a therapeutic riding center in Texas for four years before moving to Lander. Horsemanship has a special place in a liberal education because it requires the cultivation of the virtues most relevant to leadership and relationship, and gives students an opportunity to recover and put into practice authority rightly understood. Marjorie is grateful to be part of Wyoming Catholic College’s endeavor to educate the whole person.
