Téa Bengoa
My name is Téa Bengoa, and I’m a rising junior at WCC. Hailing as I do from the Nevada desert I’ve been enjoying the opportunity to spend some time in the trees on various WCC outdoor trips in Wyoming’s beautiful mountain ranges. However, I’ll always think that desert sunsets are the prettiest, and will happily scramble around big rocks in southern Utah or bushwhack (brushwhack?) through the sagebrush back home any day. Back at school, I spend most of my time reading good books (academic and otherwise,) puzzling my way through math homework over coffee with friends, and going on long walks to sort through my thoughts after particularly mind-blowing class sessions. At PEAK, I look forward to sharing some of the great literature and adventures that have been central to my life for the past few years, and to the good conversations and community that are the natural result of both.
