Kathy was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, so adventuring in the outdoors was always a part of her life. From hiking in Sedona to backpacking in the Grand Canyon, she always enjoyed spending time in God’s “First Book.” In 2018, she came to Wyoming Catholic College to pursue the Liberal Arts and grow in her faith surrounded by a vibrant Catholic community. Along the way, she discovered the joy, fulfillment, and spiritual enrichment she gained from leading in the school’s Outdoor Leadership Program. Since her sophomore year, Kathy has led numerous trips for both COR and WCC including the 21 Day Freshmen Expedition twice, backpacking in both the mountains and desert, winter camping, whitewater kayaking and rafting, canoeing, canyoneering, and climbing and is a certified Wilderness First Responder with over 200 backcountry days. After graduating, she joined the COR Missionary team in Fall of 2022 along with her husband Jack. When not in the field, she enjoys ballroom dancing, reading, spending time with Jack, and hiking in the mountains.
