The Education Freedom Fund and
Wyoming Catholic College

Wyoming Catholic College is proud and honored to have been selected as the first school to participate in the Education Freedom Fund’s unprecedented student loan program.

Education Freedom, LLC aims to be a catalyst for disruption in the higher education marketplace by providing schools who want to be fully removed from the government student loan process with an alternative student loan funding vehicle.

Starting in Fall, 2024, Education Freedom, LLC is running a pilot program with Wyoming Catholic College with a view to expanding the program over time to a broader base of participating schools. The policy idea and investment concept originated from the Heritage Foundation as a way to promote human flourishing and to take back American institutions from government policy-makers in Washington, DC.

The Fund offers both fixed and variable interest rates with either a 10-year or 15-year repayment term, as well as an interest rate discount for signing up for automatic payments. To prevent interest from compounding and the loan ballooning, EFF requires interest payments while in school. Rates will include a 0.25% automatic payment discount, and the lowest APR is available to the most creditworthy applicants. Your actual APR will be based on your credit qualifications, loan program, interest rate option, repayment term and whether you elect the automatic payment feature. (As of October 1, 2024 current rates on this program range from 5.62% – 9.74% Fixed APR and 5.12% – 9.49% Variable APR.)
