Deacon Joseph Bellissimo and his wife, Edythe, have been married over 29 years and are blessed with five children. They currently reside in New Smyrna Beach, Florida but originally hail from western Pennsylvania, where their faith, family, and cultural foundations were firmly established.

Deacon Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University, Master of Arts, Theology, from Saint Leo University, and Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is one of the founders of Bellissimo & Peirce, Attorneys at Law, as well as the social media application and platform, Share A Prayer. Deacon Joe was ordained a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Orlando by Bishop John Noonan, where he serves in multiple and various capacities throughout the diocese and central Florida. For almost ten years, he has spearheaded the Community Outreach Program created by the late Redemptorist priest, Father Tom Burke, which provides administrative, logistical, and spiritual counsel through a myriad of free services including: insurance, immigration, housing, elder care, hospital and hospice assistance, and faith development and propagation. The program is a means of evangelization beyond traditional pathways, bringing the Gospel to life.

Deacon Joe is an inspired and inspiring retreat master, mission director, and leader, speaker, author, podcast host, spiritual presenter, and event coordinator. He has dedicated his life to Christ by passionately animating the Eucharist and loving and serving God by loving and serving His people. Deacon Joe zealously desires to bridge the Church and faith to the world by offering the gift and graces of the one true faith through real and pragmatic encounters so all experience the Risen and Living Christ in their lives.
