Merit Scholarship

Wyoming Catholic College offers competitive merit scholarships to high school students who have demonstrated excellent academic aptitude. To qualify, the applicant must have (1) test scores in the 85th percentile on the SAT, ACT, or CLT; and (2) a high school GPA of at least 3.5. Merit Awards will be announced twice a year, late fall and late spring, after financial aid is awarded.

Founders’ Scholarship

The Founders’ Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship awarded to a student who shows academic excellence, great work ethic and strong communication skills. The College holds two competitions on campus each academic year. The scholarship is renewable from year to year, provided the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The Native American Mentor-Student Partnership at Wyoming Catholic College

As the result of a generous grant from the Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions, Wyoming Catholic College is pleased to offer a special scholarship program to qualified Native American students. The program enables the College to offer need-based financial grants that may (in some cases) cover all costs of attendance, including tuition, room and board, books, and fees. But it is more than just a scholarship program. Incoming Native American students are matched with “student-mentors” from among the current student body from their first days at Wyoming Catholic. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for additional details and application guidelines.

Christine Allen Memorial Scholarship

The Christine Allen Memorial Scholarship was established to remember and celebrate Christine’s extraordinary life as a student at the College. Her legacy continues by helping fellow Wyoming Catholic College students achieve the educational experience she so desired. All returning Wyoming Catholic College students are encouraged to apply for this $2,000 scholarship.

Transfer Scholarship

The Transfer Scholarship recognizes students who have attended another college and decided to pursue their formation and education at WCC. The award is a significant scholarship for years 1-3 and an even larger award during senior year. Free tuition plus a significant award towards room, board and fees. This award cannot be stacked with any other WCC-issued awards, including grants, work-study, or scholarships. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition for the senior year, while the student is responsible for 50% of room, board, and fees. Eligibility for this transfer scholarship is contingent upon meeting the defined criteria, including full-time enrollment in the prior year at a traditional four year college approved by WCC. Please email Mrs. Bolin for more details.

Our students are also encouraged to apply for external scholarships. A selection of such scholarships can be found here.
