Deacon Andrew Westerman

Seminarian, Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter

I am grateful for the role Wyoming Catholic College played in preparing me for my vocation. After taking classes at a few other colleges and universities now, and meeting people from many others, no learning environment or set of professors has compared with the quality and consistency that I received at Wyoming Catholic.

I am ever more convinced there is something unique to the structure and the complete integration of elements at my alma mater that I could not appreciate until I had actually studied elsewhere. I could not think of a better preparation for formation, and often refer back to things I read or discussed there.

Truly, the foundation of my priestly vocation and my love for Christ and his Church is in large part a product of my time spent in “God’s Country.”
