Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Marissa graduated from Wyoming Catholic College with the Class of 2018. As a student leader for the college’s Outdoor Leadership Program she discovered the transformative power of experiential education and wilderness ministry and, when given the opportunity to help make those experiences possible for people beyond the college, she was eager to share what she credits with much of her personal growth during her college years. She worked seasonally for COR during the summers of 2017 and 2018 and decided to continue with the organization full-time in the fall of 2018. While Marissa enjoys being in the field, she has found that her strengths and passion lie more in providing organization and support to the team and is excited to use those strengths to further the mission of COR Expeditions.
