Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Louisa grew up playing in the mud, running around the woods in her neighborhood, and terrorizing her family’s backyard chickens. Although she always had a deep love for adventure, she heavily pursued classical music throughout middle and high school, but was ultimately drawn to Wyoming Catholic College in 2018, with a desire to challenge herself in the outdoors as well as the classroom.

At WCC, Louisa grew to love backpacking and rock climbing, earning her Wilderness First Responder certification in 2019. Since then, she has led the Freshman 21-day trip twice and instructed numerous trips for COR and WCC, as well as working as a logistics staff member since her Sophomore year. During that time, she has been transformed by the outdoors, and has truly come to believe in COR’s mission of renewing hearts through God’s creation.

Since graduating from WCC in May 2022, Louisa has worked as an adjunct instructor for COR and joined the full-time staff in September 2022. In addition to rock climbing, in her free time she loves to push herself in snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing peaks, and various other outdoor activities.
