After driving ambulances in Los Angeles, California and operating a nuclear warship in Norfolk, Virginia with the Navy, Colin was looking for a place to settle down with his wife Samantha to raise their family. They spent the next four years in Gallup, New Mexico where Colin worked as an insurance adjuster and the Director of the Gallup Cultural Center, a project of the Southwest Indian Foundation. They eventually returned to Lander, Wyoming (where they were married in 2008), and are now hoping to do all of the hunting and fishing they (and their seven children) missed while living on the coasts.
