Director of Janitorial Services
B.A. (Liberal Arts), Wyoming Catholic College
Ben grew up in Wisconsin as an enthusiastic outdoorsman and amateur craftsman. Throughout high school, he pursued outdoor adventures and worked as a crew leader for a waterfront restoration company. Near the very end of high school, he was about to commit to a mechanical engineering program in Kansas when he took a trip across the country with a friend to visit Wyoming Catholic College “just for the fun of it.” But upon visiting the college and being immersed in its culture for several days, he was struck with the depth and authenticity of the community and curriculum. They were real, raw, wild, and truly cultured, untouched by the artificiality and diluted-ness of the secular world. After much careful reflection, he discerned that in order to live as the man he wanted to be, he needed this formation to be strong in body, mind, and spirit in order to deal with the confusion and corruption of the modern world. Ben graduated in 2021 (with honors) and was his class’ recipient of the Frassati Award for Excellence in Leadership. Now he is putting his leadership experience to work for the College, managing the janitorial department and fitting in whatever maintenance projects he can on the side. In his free time, Ben continues to do small renovation and construction projects around Lander, woodworking, reading, and exploring the great Wyoming outdoors.
