Wilderness First Responder Course
Join us for a 70-hour course that can take you from having no wilderness medicine experience to being a fully certified Wilderness First Responder in just 10 days. Graduates from the course earn their WFR certification through SOLO as well as a certification in CPR through the American Red Cross. The WFR certification is valid for 3 years and is transferable with certifications from NOLS Wilderness Medicine (WMI) or Wilderness Medical Associates. The WFR is the standard professional medical certification across the outdoor industry. It is a pertinent certification for anyone who is an avid outdoor enthusiast and is essential for anyone looking to become an instructor or guide for any professional organization such as COR Expeditions, Outward Bound, NOLS, and countless others.
